I heard complaints about the S3 camera, being not good enough, especially for the old and good G3 (or G5/6) owners as me.

Any inputs about this camera?

I, also, am wondering which Point & shoot camera to replace my Canon G3 with. I also shoot with a Canon XT SLR but also love my G3.

I like the S3, quality is good and functions are still being learned by me. Like the long reach, the stabilization, the whole 9 yards. Check the reviews. Ask people who have used the camera, try at http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/forum.asp?forum=1010

Look at some of my shots (search the tags) at http://www.flickr.com/photos/januaryman/

The same goes for the A620, P&S carry around that I'm a bit more familiar with and use more often because it's usually with me. Both are great cameras. High marks from me!
