I just saw the review for the new new Casio EX-Z77 on steves-digicams.com and noticed he listed that it had a 10 minute limit. Does this still only apply to the European version, or are they now applying this to models sold in the USA?

This would be a real disappointment if this was the case considering it's low price and its h264 video.

I own a casio ex-v7.

Japan made and out of the USA region. does not mak a difference, I am sure there is a minipulation to free limited sd record time?

You Pay a lot less as well , and an online search is needed?

1. H264 codec is required for viewing that casio gives you? the 720P is not the best? I preferre my economy model over casio but the night scene blows away the economy model. 858x480 is not 720P or is it? 1280x720 would be

Just bought a USA model, and sure enough, a 10 minute limit.

I did a double take playing with it in the store, thinking it was some sort of memory card error when the time dropped from like 3 hours to 10 min.

REALLY stupid thing for them to do.
