hello all,
I have a Casio ex-v7 from a while back, and I stopped using it because it kept displaying the error message "Camera stabilizer not available" and wouldnt let me go any farther furthermore, i have lost the charger, and want to see if i have any hope of reviving this camera or if im just wasting $$ to buy a replacement cradle I have looked around and some people claim that upgrading the firmware lets you bypass this. can anybody confirm this? also does anything like CHDK let me get by this error? thanks a heap |

A quick google search found some posts from EX-V7 users that claim the v1.03 firmware allows the camera to function, even though the error still appears. So, you may want to give the new firmware a try. You will need a fully charged battery for the update.
