Casio needs to come clean on the 10 minute video limitation

It was discussed in this thread that some Casio, originally European market models came with a artificially set 10 minute limit.

Now, my EX-Z700 that broke had in camera editing and there was no artificial limit.

The EX-Z300 I got to replace this with has a 10 minute limit. It is not mentioned in the manual. From the 1-800 number given on the sticker inside, I think it's a US model, however I think the camera itself is built to world-wide spec now.

If it's got a 10 minute limit, so be it, but CASIO NEEDS TO COME CLEAN on this and disclose this clearly in the manual and on their website!!1

Page 47 of the North American Z300 Manual states:

"Each movie can be up to 10 minutes long. Movie recording stops automatically after 10 minutes of recording."

The link will send you to the Casio USA site, Z300 specification page, which states:

"Movies/Recording Time/Maximum recording time per file: 10 min."

Could be different in the International versions I suppose.
