Default Casio Exilim - Help with getting good pictures indoors

I have an Exilim and have never found out the best settings for taking pictures indoors. When I am at a party or restaurant with friends, I can never take good pictures and have to reply on friends. They have cheaper cameras and somehow get great pictures.

Can anyone help me with the best setting for indoor pictures with an Exilim?

I have that same problem. I had an Exilim EX-Z90. Luckily I bought it at Costco, so I took it back and bought a Sony. I've always gotten good photos with Sony cameras, and I'm realizing you get what you pay for.

Welcome to the Forum. We're please that you dropped by.

Concerning the problem that you are experiencing with indoor photos. Could you please post a sample photo. That would be very helpful. If the photos are very dark, and the you did use the camera's built-in flash, two things could be wrong: (1) The distance between camera and subject was to great, or (2) the ISO was not set to ISO Auto. However, it would be much easier if we were able to see and analyze one of your photos. Thanks in advance for posting a photo.

Take care and have a great weekend.
