firmware casio EX-Z40

hi,

like many people here i think, i have a message "system error 0e01" when i start my EX-Z40.
i've contacted casio, who sent me to nikken, who sent me the firmware.
so, i have the firmware (if anybody needs it) but i don't know how to install it...
i've searched but found nothing and i don't want to make something wrong.

an idea ??

well i finally found.

this is how i did, in case it could help someone :

i put the file in the root of my sd card

i tried the firt way, turning on the camera by pushing menu + on/off then choosing yes but it didn't work, same message "system error 0e01"

So i tried turning it on by pressing menu + display + on/off
then i pressed right (in the directional pad) 2 times quickly and menu (quickly too)

in the menu i choose rom update.
then flash initial (say yes) and finally system initial (say yes too).

after that i tried again to turn it on pressing menu + on/off, i choose yes and it worked
my ex-z 40 finally work again.

Hi psikhopat, i have the same issue, could you please send me the firmware too ? ( paulo.jaques@verizonbusiness.com ) it's urgent, i leave for vacation and I would like can use my camera .. th xthx p

hi i am a new member,i am trying to find firmware for a casio ex z40 .if any member can help it will be very much appreciated.i am located in the uk.
i have looked on the casio uk site ,this model is not listed ,bit i think the models that are listed are mirmware upgrades.
