The z30 won't be as good as the 40 model. The new casio range looks good but I am not falling for that anymore, my next step is to just get a better camera no matter what size it is as long as it takes good pictures. But I still feel that my z40 takes good pictures for the size of the camera, if anyone cantell me a camera which is the size of the z40 that can take better images please post one.

A pic of my cat taken with the z40 usingISO 50, AF off, bestshot wasone I edited on bestshot editor.

Hi there...

I have been reading this forum ever since I wanted to get my hands on a digital camera. I finally decided on the Z40.

I have a little problem. I'noticing that on each picture I take, in the exact spot, there is a red dot. Seems like the CCD is stuck on red in that pixel.

Is there any way to solve this problem? I can't really send it back as I bought it from overseas and I can't find the local agent/service center for the CASIO.
