I just recently bought a EX-Z55, and love every bit of it!

Ibought it with a 5YR Mack warranty which I registered on-line yesterday. It asked me for a serial number, and I found two. One is under the recharging dock which is labeled as "SERIAL NO.", whereas there is also a code written under the camera itself. Its a seven digit code followed by abold letter. I wanted to know which is the serial number I need in my case. The warranty asks for the camera's serial number. Therefore, I entered in the code under the camera, not the number under the dock. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks in advance; and thank you Steve for helping me decide which new digi-cam was best for me. I was in the market comparing cams for the LONGEST time. Feels great to know I made the right choice! :!:

You want the numbers on the bottom of the camera. You'll also find them on the back of the box, it's the small barcode label near the edge of the box that is stuck on. For USA cameras it is 7 numbers followed by an "A"
