I'm impressed w the Casio EXP 600/700, The EXZ50/55and Z 750. I've never used yet any of these . Looking for a backup to my A2 when traveling, hiking, etc. My needs are smaller size, 5+mp, 3X or better zoom, decent image quality and easy to use (menus, controls, etc). What are the +'s and -'s of these Casios ? Which do you recommend ? How do these models compare to the Canon S70, Oly C7000, Sony P200 and Pentax 750Z? Thanks. Looking fwd to your advice...Jerry

Well, I can only speak personally for the Z55, I have that camera and it is a great sub-compact. If you want something pocketable, I'd go with the new Z57, which has an even bigger lcd, and adds other improvements. Or, if your wallet can stand it, the Z750 has the same pocketable design, but is 7MP, and adds a much better MPEG4 movie mode. A very lively discussion of the Z750 with picture and movie samples is going on over at dpreview.com in the Casio forum.
