I just got the S100 ignoring all other reviews, going by the word of The Steve. Well...here's the problem. This quote:

"When shooting in SnapShot mode the shot-to-shot delay averaged approx. 1 second without the flash and 2 seconds with the flash." -Steve

Seems to be misleading. If I take a picture of something greater than 5 feet away I get a consistant 6 second flash load time. I called Casio and they told me that the camera I have must be defective and that I should return it. But then I broke free of SteveDigi and took a look around and found 90% of the review of this cameracomment on the long flash load time.

So...what's the deal? Are there some super secret settings that make the camera flash load faster? I have it set to the lowest intensity. Is there a way to have a gnome live inside the camera and unplug the LCD while the flash is loading to give it more power? I look forward to hearing your advice. Peace.
