Hi, I'm going to buy an ultra compact camera.

I saw Casio EX-Z750 and I think it's good but I also saw it was released at the start of the year. Will it be replaced soon by another Casio model with same or better characteristics?

What compact digital camera with similar characteristics do you advise to me (also from another brand)?

I should hope not!

The 2 new models are

nowhere near the 750!

I love the 2.5 screen and 7.2 mp!

I get 450 pics with 2gig SD card.

Have a look at Konica Minolta DiMAGE X1. It is a new entrant. Though it may not have some features of Z750, it has many other worthy features. It is Ultra-compact like Z750; 8MegaPixels, Internal foldable lens unlike Casio's protruding lens, and most importantly, it has Anti-Shake feature built-in. But movies are only 20fps. Check the picture quality.
