What are the differences between the S 500 and S 600 except the sensor ?

i am looking for good still and good video cameras (MPEG4). Any advices welcome.

Here's one way of comparing the two models.


I own the S500, and am very pleased with it. I really don't think that image quality is going to be so much of a factor between the two. Also read this review.

Looking back at the site that did the side by side comparrison, I noticed one mistake. This is regarding the metering. They stated that the S500 only has center weighted metering. That's not true. The metering is the same as the S600. As I mentioned above, I own the S500, and I vary the metering depending what I'm shooting. After readingthat particular review, it might be a good idea to varifyinfo with the tech specs on Casio's web site. Also check out www.exilim.com
