Default Casio EX-Z3 vs Pentax OptioS

Are there any significant differences between the Casio EX-Z3 vs the Pentax OptioS? Is one "better"?

After ~5800 pix, it's time to retire my wife's DC220. She wants something that takes up less purse space. Are there any other micro-cameras to consider?

hi, i tried the casio and the pentax at my local jessops here in the uk four days ago.
the casio overexposed the pics in bright sun, very badly, indoors the auto white balance was way off and genral colour was not very good. yes you can fix all this stuff on your pc, but do you want fix every pic you take.

the pentax was a bit better but the skin colour was all yellow.

i took the same pics with my minolta f100, they were far better.
i wanted a smaller digi cam to fit my shirt pocket but ill be keeping
my f100 tiill a small but good quality digi comes out
