Did you upgrade the firmware between those shots? Casio released an upgrade for the Z750 that reduced the default contrast, sharpening and saturation because a lot of people thought that it was "over the top". You can still set your camera to get the old colors if you want by setting + saturation and + sharpening.

Did you compared the exif from both images? At first, you upgraded the firmware
between these two shots. So brachiopod is completely right about the saturation and the other settings.

So the different image settings are ..

in old (better) image..
Gain control : None (0)
Contrast : Hard (2)
Saturation : High (2)
Sharpness : Hard (2)
CCD ISO Sensitivity : 50

in new("worse") image..
Gain control : Low gain up (1)
Contrast : Normal (0)
Saturation : Normal (0)
Sharpness : Normal (0)
CCD ISO Sensitivity : 100
