Nice picture.All the colours backgound and the main subject are in tune.Well DOF may be a subject for discussion.It troubles me a lot in close up.

Yeah, if there is one thing this 50mm 1.8 is good at, it's reminding you why you need a tripod. The DOF at 1.8 is so insanely shallow it is almost impossible to nail it handheld. For me anyway.

almo, I think this is a good shot. The dof is iffy, but the colors are great.

I finally purchased a Manfrotto monopod and attached my shutter release to it. Helps to have the camera steady and also the shutter release helps innot shaking the camera when releasing the shutter. It is hard to master this macro, but I am determined.
