Default Bee - or something like that

Here's a picture I've just taken.
It's something like a bee I guess. It was on some flowers in the garden.
There were some 10 or 20 of them on that flower.
Comments are appreciated.

Once more, photoshopped:

Wow, that is really close and very sharp.

I would use a thinner frame, it takes away from your great pic!

Thank you.
I'm glad you like it! I'll change the frame later. It's really too thick.

Kex,

Neat picture. Sharp and well posed. I could be wrong, but I think it's a hornet not a bee tho.. Bees usually have those pollen baskets around their feet.

Agree with jazzcan about the frame.

Keep on clicking.

Aloha

thanks selvin!
It's definitly no hornet. They are much bigger here and I wouldn't have taken a photo from that short distance. That's too dangerous for me.
But you're right. It's no bee either. So what can it be? :? It was about the size of a normal bee.

Do you think the frame is still too thick? Because I changed it after jazcan posted and before you did.

Hi Kex (means biscuits in danish ha ha).

Nice shot - a fine catch.

You shot deserves to be corrected a bit in PS. It's overexposed and after that add some USM (sharpness)! Just a friendly advice.

hi. thanks for your comment. I postet the "photoshopped" version in my first post.
And I agree with you. It's better like that.

BTW: kex means biscuit in german, too. It's just spelled "Keks" and i replaced the "ks" with an "x".
So, my nick is just meant to mean "biscuit". Hehe.

I Believe it's a Hover Fly. They look like bees, but do not sting. I agree with Klaus, some photoshop tweaks would help some.Nice pic. Woody

yep. you're right. I found out that it is a hover fly, but it was about the size of a bee, so I was a little surprised, because usually hover flies are really small, comparing to bees.
