I somewhat heavily cropped the original picture to acquire (a relatively!) close up while trying to retain the mood.

Would appreciate your cropping suggestions (other than wheat, barley, etc.:G)

Here's the original I shot whilewatching over my kids playingin the park : )

Hi Bahadir,

I'm glad to be the first one to reply to this photo.... even if it is a month ago since you posted it!

The warm colours of the evening sun certainly do come through clearly on it. And the backlit leaves have a special quality to them.

I think you probably needed to be closer to get the most out of it.

The only thing that "bugs" me is that the leaf on the very right doesn't have any space to the right of it (that is, it touches the edge of the frame)... and I see the "whole" version has that, so I guess the only alternative would be to "paste" or clone some blue sky to the right (create a new / larger sky area to the right).

Thanks for sharing, though. Lovely!

Paul

The very best composition to my eyes. The leaves forming a triangle

There is a photo ABC book where the author names the three ground rules of photography

1 get closer

2 get closer

3 get closer

Perhaps there are six at least in this kind of picture-making

4 get closer

5 get closer

6 get close
