Default Two Coolpix SQ Spider Images

Here are two spider shots with Nikon Coolpix SQ. The spider in the top image is about 1cm x 1cm, and the one in the bottom is about 5mm x 5mm. As a result, the top image was cropped, resized, and sharpened (with PS7's Sharpen command). Since the bottom is smaller, it is cropped, leveled and sharpened with PS7's Sharpen command.

Equipment used were Samigon's FRL-1 Halo Ring Light (see my Coolpix 4500 user guide) and Coolpix SQ. The SQ is very convenient in taking the images like the one shown above. Since the SQ is thin and can lay on the surface waiting for the subject to enter the scene. It is well-known that the SQ generates higher noise level than most digicams. However, as you can see, the resized image does not show noise. Only the bottom image has noise in the darker area.

They were alive. They were simply running around on the wall (the top one) and my chair (the bottom one). Without the thin form factor of the Coolpix SQ, it is difficult to take these two shots.
