Thanks to wk7leung, who served the first plate. Why so large pictures? Well, if you ever had a big family

The patterns of the petals is an interesting topic. All here are terrific. The lighting is good and the lines of red on the petal rims inject vitality to the patterns being captured. Another feeling isthe sunninessand freshness that the imagesconveyed to me. Thanks for your response tomythreadas well as the treat here.

Torgney, this has to rank among the best work you've shown us. These are really good.

All those variations of white, with that little smear of intense color; a dessert, indeed.

Well done.

Absolutely wonder, creamy, textured photos. So pleasing to the senses...

Thank you very much. Yes, patterns. I walked some 17-18 kilometers today. One of the things I thought about was why we like patterns in nature photography. Perhaps we can exchange some views on the subject some time

A quote from you: "...and it is the naturalness that a shot can capture that poses challenges tomany a photographer. A shot that tells something or that hinges viewers is more than a shot by itself, it is a story" (in The Barbarians thread Orchids)

A photo as a story. Great

So we seek both patterns and naturalness. Not the easiest task

I am happy that you tasted from these three plates although it is almost the same flavour

Once I sat at the stairs of Gothenburg City Library. Some three meters from there was a man systematically eating icecream. It must have been at least 20 deciliter in a plastic family pack. He sat there eating in total concentration, never once looking up

Thank you, brokenbokeh, for viewing and the comments. One day maybe there will be photographs with sents or even edible ones. Mmmmm
