I was testing a new 2X converter with my 18-55... so far, I like it.

Kinda looks like 'snake spit', or the frothy secretion found on some weeds. Not sure where it comes from but pretty sure its not snakes!!:shock:

You're absolutely correct Jack!
I've looked at these for years and never realized they had such a sparkly crystalline like texture. here is the full shot, only post editing was resizing.

It's amazing what looking through a lens can do for your perspective!
