hmmm... #1 reminds me of the grass we had the back yard when I was a child growing up in LA. when it got high and bloomed like that, the black would come off on your clothes and was hard to get out!:X

For #1, the grass was pretty short actually, not higher than your thigh. It was just an optical illusion that I created using a fieldscope for this shot. I attached a 30x eyepiece and a Nikon C8400 prosumerto the fieldscope and shot thisgrass from about25m away.The grass was compressed together, so the effect of this shot.You never get lost in this patch of grassland, haha.
