Excellent work on that second photo! The detail on the insect and surrounding blooms is great and the dof of the background make this a outstanding composition!

Bob,

I feel honoured by your words. Thank you. To me it's almost impossible to make a close, close up composition looking through the viewfinder or at the LCD.

There are too many parameters, of which the quality and the distribution of light are the most important. I take many, many pictures and do some, often very heavy, cropping and hope for the best

Seems the insects are better suited for the hardships of life, with shields and covers protecting the inner organs. How vulnerable the human body
