Default I just couldn't resist.

I took this pic with an old Kodak 280 holding it to one side of a pair of 8x35 binochulars. I am looking to buy a 10x or better zoom camera but holding out to see the new panasonic fz-10. I wonder how many other people have done this?

Wow, quite interesting... Yes, you could adjust the vertical and get rid of the ugly date stamp but over all it's there!

I saw it recently on (an older) nature show...in that case they used a cheap, small P&S film camera taped to the one lens, and they used the other lens as the viewfinder to focus.

Thanks guys. Hopefully I won't have to this much longer. I finally convinced the wife to let me buy a new camera. I think the panasonic FZ-10 will be the one. As far as the date stamp goes, I do remove it via software b-4 I print them to add to the collection but I leave it to tell me where it might be. We have been on a mission to collect lighthouses for 4 years (retired & traveling the country for the 4 yrs.) & have over 100 now so it gets hard to keep up. Here is a better version.
