Very nice to see. I have a small collection of Pelikan and Montblancs.

Not your usual subjects, but all very nicely done. I especially like the engravings on some of the (nibs?).

The engravings ... they really are beautiful.

Here are two that were taken lately that are of different subject matters.

Thanks for viewing and giving comments.

Very nice photos....you have captured the beauty of a Fountain pen nib wonderfully well.

I used fountain pens at work for about a quarter of a century. I had positions that entailed much handwriting.

I found the fountains were smooth and easy to write with...easing writer's cramp that I would get when using ball point pens.

I generally used Sheaffers' White Dot with a gold nib. I had about four, that I would rotate. I also used some Sheaffers' White Dot and Waterman, ball points occasionally.

The Sheaffers White Dot were workhorses...the Waterman, although a fine pen, was absolutely beautiful. Besides enjoying writing with it, I loved to just look at the Waterman.

I still have all but one pen...put out to pasture now...as I am...after many years.

Thanks for viewing and giving comments. Can't agree with you more than fountain pens are just perfect for writing. What you have to do is to grab the upper part of the shaft, anchor your wrist on the desk, pivote your hand a little bit and things got written out swiftly. The process is just smooth and the feeling ... great and 'cramping' ... no way.

There are a few pens that I have not yet taken pictures of and I will post them up here if I finish shooting them.

The engraving on the nib is just beautiful. A pity that as I put the pens to use, I usually wiped them with cloth before storing them up again after use, thereby scratching their surfaces.
