Default raynox 250

well untill my macro lens turns up my wife gave me a raynox 250 this morning to put me on for those who dont know what it is, it is a little clip on lens adapter that fits most zoom lenses .

i have only just took these two shots free hand and to be honest i shake like mad im going to get the tripod out and give it another go but none the less here are the first two shots and attempts at close ups.

im sure this little adapter will give some amazing results when added to the end of my macro lens when it arrives at current im just fixing to the end of my 55 - 200

Hey, Simon - Lucky you!
Seems like you have been a 'good boy' this (last) year and Santa 'wife' remembered!

I wouldn't know anything about close-ups, as I have never done any. Looks good to me though. Focus, colors and DOF all seem to work together her.

Congrats on the Raynox-thing!

Amazing to be your first macro pictures.

Well done, I'll be looking forward to seeing more of your macro pictures.

that last image looks great simple. yes, combining the raynox plus a true 1:1 macro lens is a very easy way to achieve some extreme macro shots. can't wait to see your examples.
