I was walking with my dogs in an untouched area in the vincinity of the Botanical Garden, when I saw these, yes, delicate, leaves. I have never seen anything like it before.

I think that this plant is a "refugee" from the Botanical Garden itself. Sorry, can't help you at this stage but if i can get the information, I'll get back to you

Like them both. I can imagine many people walking by those leaves and never seeing the photographic opportunity there. I think the first one really benefits from the almost total dark background as it makes the colour/delicacy of the leaves stand out.

Torgny......neat photos...my fav is #2. Less busy on the background and the colors compliment each other more in it.

If you're going Canon I can highly recommend the affordable EF-S lense 55-250. Very sharp and effective lens stabilisation
