Yep, I sure am, although I don't have the local accent due to my parents and family being from the London area

It's a great place to live and I certainly miss the photo ops for nice scenery as well as the peace and quiet which Egypt certainly doesn't give. Well you can't have everything and being closer to my fiancee was more important. Will be back there in September.

As you like the scenery in the Plymouth area, here are a few that I've taken at different times, although as I'm not much of a landscape guy they are not great and I don't have many.

Dartmoor Devon UK
Waterscapes - Burrator Reservoir
Cottage on the river
Ship Silhouette Sunset

To finish with a video (not that great) from Plymbridge Woods at the start of 2009

You didn't pick up the local accent??? I remember the sweet lady at the petrol station telling me, "That'll be 20 pounds, me lover". Thanks for the lovely pictures! All the best. Ned

I only have film pictures... Can't wait to enter the digital age. I absolutely adored Conrwall and Devon.

How long did you live there for? It certainly has variety, but looking at what you've posted I don't think you will be struggling for subjects.

It's spring here in NYC and I see flowers in the streets but don't know what to do with them. You make it sound so simple -- and with a cellphone at that! Great pics!

Hi vvcapio, and thanks for your kind words. You know, the best part of all, I was able to set the camera's settings so that that I had a relatively black/dark background... Thanks again, and so good hear from you. Looking forward to seeing more photos from you. Ned

vvcapio is a late riser, yesterday morning it was 29 degrees faranheit, about -2 celcius. Spring? What is he talking about?
