Default Day lily nursery shoot

An acquaintance of mine invited me to shoot her day lily nursery. Temps were in the mid-90s, sky=bright, overcast and a little breezy. And it was freakin' HUMID! She had a great variety and all well-kept and labeled. I used the Oly with the 135mm and the Fuji. These are a mix of both. Out of about 300 shots, I wound up with 78 keepers.

Here's a slide show for all of 'em http://tinyurl.com/2v3nr2s

Gary, nice I liked the slide show, until you started posting your flower pics I was unaware of the huge variety of roses & day lilies out there. We have the burnt orange/yellow day lilies (they are commonly called tiger lilies around here) growing wild around roadsides here, & I have seen the all yellow ones used in landscaping in different areas but not most of the colors your images depict. enjoyed seeing all the variances.

Thanks, Charles. Tiger lilies are all over the place. To be honest, I wasn't aware of the varieties of these until I started photographing them. Same with roses.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice, Gary.
Funny, I did the same thing a few weeks ago for a friend of my daughter, who raises day lily's. Same conditions and I was dripping perspiration all over my camera!
