Wow, this is an amazing photo! Looks so ugly (in a way) - but amazing detail too.

The colour is quite unexpected (tinge of blue... almost 'alien-like'). Or have I been watching too many movies?

Good job, Simon!

I can't wait to see what you will be producing with some focus stacking help from Bynx.

Thats one of the best shots of this kind Ive seen. Truly amazing clarity for the part in focus. That is some ugly sucker. The flies in Canada have less hair and are actually a little cuter. I still kill 'em, but they are cuter.

Nice job, Simon!
Better than any I've been able to capture so far.
Stacking is really fun to do. I just started to experiment a little and was surprised how easy it is. I don't know what you use for editing but, I have CS4 Extended and it does a good job of stacking. I haven't tried anything else to compare it to but, so far I like it.
