Default first attempt at a wasp

came out ok i guess? wasnt keen on the angle but it was windy and the wasp didnt want to hang around .... it seemed to be rubbing itself this was handheld with the tamron 90mm



i did put the raynox on after this but i fluffed it and binned the shot

i didnt get to use the raynox on these ....... but usually it is the 250

These are great. I sprayed a few wasps today. I don't hang around. Spray and dash. What will you do if you see them lift off?

Simon, all are good but the last one is amazing! I have seen a few wasps close up but never saw the "hair" on their back before!

hahaha..... i just stay there , there was a few wasps and bees at this location i just bent down in the overgrowth to take the picture , i did think about getting stung but thought if its going to happen it will happen . i have been stung several times before, a few years ago and before i had a camera

spy and hawgwild thanks for your comments i really want to get the raynox on the end of the tamron for a head shot but these things are busy and move around too quickly for me
