Default Busy Bee

Hi Chums,
Got a Lumix fx01,
Took quite a few close ups of this bee, Liked this one the most. not sure if the background detracts from it or not. Think It might have been better if I had blured the background more and cropped in more but I seemed to be at the minimum focusing disance. might have a go with Pshop and see.
Later Chums.... Mark

Yes you are right Mark .. the background is a little too busy, but it's still a nice shot and if you've got enough pixels you might get away with a landscape shot of the bottom half of the photo in 8x10 format.

Sometimes we all get caught up in trying to get the shot and forget to compose properly (background and/or rule of thirds), I know I do it all the time and then kick myself for having missed a great opportunity by not having the required patience !

Hi Frogfish,
Thank you, Ive tried the crop, it was grainey so used the de noise jobber in pshop plug in. I find I'm nearly always taking pics in portrait and not often in landscape so i need to work on using both.
Thank you,
Regards Mark

Yeah, that's much better!
I find it rather difficult to get these guys to sit still long enough to allow me to focus and click the shutter!
