pbjunkie ......... i will start with the bad first i dont care that much for your shots 2,3,4,5 although i like your creativity when boredom kicks in ...... just my personal opinion.

now the good ......... the first is one of my favorite shots i have seen this year i honestly think it is superb i really like it mate the angle the colours the whole idea a great capture that looks and worked well and could only be improved maybe with a little crop off the top .......... how many attempts did it take

do you think the crop works?

Hey Pbj,
I like the first shot too but, I'm a bit confused as to what I'm looking at.
I know its a peppermint candy and and glass of water but, I don't know what's happening to get this shot. Can you explain it please?

Thanks,

I was trying to drop the peppermint into the glass to get the splash through the glass, but the mint nicked the edge of the glass and shattered...

i also like #1 here, sometimes your mistakes (missing the glass) can make for the most interesting pics. very nice shot.

i would have cleaned your floor first next time, scrub it nice and clean and shiny. would have helped keep the clean simple look better.

I think the first should be framed and put on the wall. The photographer's skill doesn't get in the way of making it an interesting conversation piece.
