Uber i belive is derrived from german,(over) just slang term many use in US, though I dont think many know where it comes from

btw, love the detail, a great capture. I agree it could use a 1/4" border of blackness on top just to balance frame

Compare that quality craftsmanship to the stuff (crap) thats put out today. Built to last a week after the warranty is up.

Yes your right. This machine is 70 years old and works until today. We use it to sew thin leather!
