Default Flower Isolation

This is my reproduction of a technique I read about in the March issue of the Digital SLR Photography magazine. Trying to isolate the flower in a black shoebox with natural lighting only and manipulate to an extent in PP.
I used my 60mm macro for this.

Not the greatest, but i am OK with it for the first time around

An excellent shot - at first I thought you had used a flash to get the lighting.

no flash. just set the box by the window and played with how deep i set the flower in the box. in PP i messed around with hue and clarity a bit

Job well done is what I say - stunning shot for a first go with a new technique.
