Sorry, banksy, don't know. I have some knowledge about (wild) flowers but this is a garden flower - don't know. Remember you asked about white flowers (sounds like a line of poetry).

Beautiful, Torgny. They are peonys. I've loved them since I was a little girl. My grandmother grew them in her garden and they have the softest petals. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peony
