Default Jellyfish

I had just gotten my camera and took a walk to the St Petersburg pier when I looked down and saw some jellyfish in the water. The walkway to the pier is about 15 feet above the water but had to try out the new camera. I was really surprised at what it captured. I'm still on my 4th battery charge LOL.

Thanks for looking. I was a big film buff in the day and the digital SLR's are just awesome compared to my old Nikon F2.

Very nice capture. Love the texture of the water and the sense of movement of the jellyfish.

Wow, excellent capture! As long as it is in the water and you are on the pier!!! How big was the thing?

The jelly was quite small, I would guess 3 inches possibly 4. I could barely see it in the viewfinder and could not see the tentacles until I got home. I have a series and should have posted more. I just grabbed one of the better ones but I am such a noob with this and the PP. The orig was a bit fuzzy but somehow managed to clean it up nicely. I know my way around Photoshop as per graphics but very new to pp on pictures. These were jpg's but now I understand RAW so I'm shooting that now.

Thanks for the comments.
Cheers
