Beautiful! Very dramatic with the black background! Great composition!

I wonder how it would look in black and white, or sepia...

Those are some of my favorite flowers. You're right - spring is on the way when they start popping up.

Thank you very much for your comments Jeanniebug, jj, Clint & banksy. I was really pleased with the way these turned out - particularly the way the back ground highlights the jonquils' daintiness.

I haven't dabbled with black and white and sepia J'bug might give it a try.

That is nice, soft colors. Almost has an organic orton effect going without the orton.
