Default I got my spider.

Every other day we take a walk through a nearby park.
I have been looking for the garden spiders and saw one next to the
path in a bunch of bushes and got some shots.

On the next visit he was gone, looked around the bushes and he was on the other side.
Then on the next visit he (I'm just guessing it's a he) had moved again.
These are some big spiders and am surprised they move so much.

My girlfriend said it looks like he is smoking something.

Dining on fresh grasshopper.

Went back today, the web was there but no spider so here is a bonus tiny orchard spider. (thanks for the previous comments, I sound like I know what I'm talking about.)

Thanks for looking, cheers.

Wow, that is quite a detail on these spiders! Scary but beautiful.

Indeed very impressive shots.

Thanks a lot for sharing and feel free to post your spider shots in the "arachnophilia" thread.

Cheers,

Stefan

Great shots. The spider sure spins a lot of floss.
