Default Bombilius major in flight

hello everyone
I am happy with this shot and I opened a new gallery devoted to insects in flight. Twenty shots of insects in flight

Great shots as always! I like #2 more even though the first is impressive. I just find the background a little distracting in it. Now if we could get insects to fly just where we want them to

Carlo, really great shots!

Have you used a tripod for this shots?

Today I have seen my first Bombilius major this year, but I couldn't take pictures.
