Default Close up lenses

I just got a set of three Tiffen close up {filter type} lenses, +1, +2, and +4.
I was skeptical about how well they would function with my Maxxum 50mm f1.7.
I was surprised at the results and happily so. Here are Holly berries at about 11x life size on the typical monitor.

G'day mate

yes- good results
I have been a user/lover of CU lenses for 30-40 years [shows my age] ... mostly use them on long lenses to bring the focus point 'real close'. I have found that the IQ does vary with the maker / price of the lens ... some of the $10 ebay jobs are pretty crappy, the good brands give good results > like yours!!!

Got any more to brag about??
Regards, Phil
