G'day mate

Wonderful in its simplicity - you have done well
cc- if I may ... you have a small bit of oof green at the top centre > maybe either to erase it, or to [next time] move slightly to show us in a little more detail that it is a leaf and part of the apple tree

Regards, Phil

Gentlemen,

why keep nagging on a poor photographer? I sometimes really try to do my best

On the noise: it hurts my neck to sit with my face two inches from the monitor screen. Furthermore: does it really matter much?

On the crop (pun intended) I did some substantial retouching at the far right side but I left that little green appendix, for whatever reason

Well, ummmm, joke aside, my goal with this picture was to, once and for all, show off some of the advantages with point metering using only the central cross type focus point

All the love from a dark cellar at Underground no 1

Torgny

We really should have more fun and frank discussions in this otherwise excellent photo sharing site

G'day me ole mate Torgny

As far as I am concerned, while whiling away the dark days & nights in your underground cellar, you can be as noisy as you like coz the noise matters not, nuttin' at all ~ the planting of the crop and the recording of the crop iz more important than the noise made producin' that crop ~ if that makes any sense

As to wot ya gunna do wif your crop & the croppin' of your crop - just enjoy the crunch & taste ~ and keep us visually informed and treated to more enjoyments from your part of the world

Regards, Phil

WCKSer,

Don't think they'd make it up here in the cold. They sure look like Fujis (Galas?) No the sun happened to free this wild (growing) apple from the shadows. The original picture file (from RAW) Sometimes the shape of the leaves can tell

Tasty, those Fujis, also expensive. Yummy

That looks like a right tastey crop to me. Nothing like sinking your teeth right into the shot for a big huge noisey bite Fab colour on the apple. I'll swap you tomatoes for apples
