Default Strange face of insects

Hello everyone
Sometimes the faces of insects seem to have human expressions
I have decided to put on my site a gallery with these strange faces
For those who want to see :
http://www.pbase.com/carlogalliani/strange_faces

here some recent shots ;

Eupholidoptera chabrieri

Sympetrum striolatum

And two shots of Mantis religiosa

Carlo,

Visited your PBase site. Splendid pictures, also entertaining. One of all the things that are wrong with humans is that they judge everything after themselves.

I find some comfort knowing insects will still be around when the human species has destroyed itself. Good luck to them. They have the obvious advantage of having their "sceleton" on the outside, protecting the intestants etcetera

Used to collect insects in my boyhood. I couldn't identify one beetle species so I went to the Museum for Natural History. I had called for a meeting with an entomologist ...

When I came to the Museum the entomologist showed up in a very small window on the outside wall. He loooked like an insect. His teeth ....

And so on

Keep posting your miraculous pictures

Torgny
