Default Butterfly pictures

A couple butterfly pictures taken this afternoon.

Sony A200, SLT-A58 System with HVL-F42AM Flash.
Mirrorless APS-C camera: Samsung NX100, Canon EOS-M.
M4/3 systems: Olympus OM-D-E-M5 and Panasonic DMC-G3.

Beautiful. Butterfly captures can be a challenge, some days they are more than happy to sit there and be photographed, other days they fly off after your first step towards them!

Thanks, Steve! I was at the trail looking around for stuffs to photograph and found this butterfly willing to stay still as my model. I saw many butterflies that day and this one was the only co-operative one.

Thanks, Dyane! Incidentally, these pictures were taken with a Tamron 70-300mm @300mm on a Canon 600D/T3i.
