Default Paperwhites

Since I still haven't bought a canon flash for my Canon T2i, so I tried using the flash from my old 35mm Minolta maxxum 7000. It worked, but gave me maximum flash power.
I used my LumiQuest as a bounce flash for this picture and hand held the camera to see if the flash would work. I was trying to get the background dark, and I was pleased with the results, so I think I need to save my pennies and get me a flash with an off camera cable. (Canon 430EXII and a Vello off camera flash cable)

Here is a Bryan Peterson video on using the off camera flash for flowers, something I'd like to do this summer backpacking in the mountains.
