You're kidding! I'm looking at a stapler?! Did you use a microscope?

HAHA..
Bcoultry you have a wonderful tendency to put me in laughing fits.
I took this picture with my Sigma 105 macro. I am bouncing the idea around in my head that because of the focal length multiplyer, I can actually get larger than 1:1 pictures with that lens. It certainly focuses at 1/2 the distance it is supposed to! It says close focus at 12" for 1:1 reproduction, but it is close focused at around 6"-7". If you have any insight into the matter lemme know!

My take on the directions that come with our equipment is that the manufacturers are very shy about telling us the possibilities. Also, there are those little warnings like the ones I get from my camera that claim, for instance, that I need the flash for a shot. Yeah, right. Some of my best photos have been taken in that situation.

Some of the best photos I have ever seen have been taken whilst 'breaking' the rules!

We need rules. What would we break if we didn't have them? I just hope they don't start making them out of plastic.

An interesting shot. I think the white balance is off a bit since the color is off. Not sure what your lighting was but I suspect the WB should be set for tungsten or incandescent. Also, it is a little bit overexposed.

calr- you caught me! I totally posted the uncorrected image.
Here is the one I meant to post. Thanks for bringing that to my attention!
