Just a small trinket my wife had on a shelf that caught my eye. I'm new to photography so I'm sure it could be alot better. I'm just trying to get used to this new toy =)

Regards,
Tim

Good start! Lighting is even, though the edges seem a little blown out... especially the bottom corners.... Did you edit out the background?

No edits other then resizing. I set it on white paper and tried to bounce the flash off the ceiling. Similar to a trick I read about on these forums.

Focusing was a problem because the lighting in the room was very poor so I used a flashlight to try and get it focused good.

Thank you for the coments guys
