That is really a nice shot. How did you get the light emphasis on just one of the blooms? The color is beautiful.

oh man!! gorgeous...unbelievable.....*picks jaw off floor*

great job dude.....a compolation(SP?) of your techniques....the single bloom lighter using the LED light i presume....and the awesome effect of the water.....from the sprinkler ? right? is this a fixed sprinkler btw? or do you have to wait for the water to be shooting just at the right angle?

What kind of LED light would he be using? I still can't get over the color in this picture, it's truly stunning.

well.....the LED color doesn't really matter....it is the bluish one i think...but WB would balance that...i think....wait...mixed lighting...so i'm not sure

Oh, ok. I thought he might be using one of those small LED flashlights I've seen in some of the local stores, but I got to thinking, those things are pretty bright, and they might wash the color out. How much different does shooting RAW make as far as picture quality goes? I can shoot that way with the S5000, but I haven't tried it yet..... I'm still learning, and I figure I need to figure out the manual settings on the camera before I go to shooting in a different mode, or am I missing something here?

well....RAW captures more details...and using NO in camera processing..letting you do that later....which is good in many ways....let's you change color balance more acurately....

That's an awesome photo, Dale. Isit waving grass forming the streaks or were you really out there in the rain with your camera?

Guitarman, are they purely local stores or have you seen the flashlights in any of the national sort? I ask because I'm interested in the LED's, but I hate buying over the Internet. I still like touching, squeezing, and sniffing before I buy.
