it's not bad....a little busy...which is a major part of photography....the colors are beautiful...but the best way to take flowers is a single flower, or maybe one with another one close to it.....just to simplify it and strengthen the composition,

the other thing, is use a very smaller arperture and/or zoom into it......then it throws the bg far out of focus....leaving you with a simple bg that doesn't disturb the subject

oh yeah...when i say "usually" i mean....some of the time...maybe even most of the time.....there are ALWAYS times that are different though...lol

nice shot for your first
