This is a driftwood stump on the beach near Bandon, OR. Camera is Nikon D100, Sigma 28-70mm lens.

I'm always following Vito around. He gets there first and says what I'd like to say. The only thing I can add is thatthe first glimpse of your photo put me immediately in mind of megaliths, rather like a close-up at Stonehenge.

There is a full-sized replica of Stonehenge in Washington, along the Columbia River. It is about a 2-hr drive from where I live. I've been there a couple of times but I could never figure out how to photograph it to do it justice. If you want, I'll try again.

Nice shot calr, I'd like to see the replica of Stonehengenext timeyou're passing by it. I never knew about that. :-)I just searched for it on the net and it is a complete replica, looks good. :-)
