Hi Sassalyn,

I don't read "big" books on photos ( lazy) ,
but each time I take the plane , read some photo magazines , like "Photographic", "Digital photografer" . lots of idea, techniques( lots advertisements too )
... and trust your instinct and emotion , just as in ... love

shoot, experiment, and enjoy. those will make you a better photographer. the basics can come out of a book. what this does. what that does. playing with it is the real learning. at least these days you don't blow a few bucks on the experiments.
oh! the money i have spent on film. come to think of it i still do just no where near as much.

Hi Sassalyn

Cant give you any names on books outside my own country, sorry.

However I read all I comes near by. Books, magazine a.s.o
It will certainly give you lots of ideas of motives, composition, colors and other tecniques. Things its hard to come by - by yourself. Sometimes you need other folks to open your eyes, right!

So my advice must be - go to the library and get some books.

I did so!

Thanks for the advice guys. Right now I am shooting everything insight. Time to get me a portable image device. My elder bro wants me to shoot his wedding for him and I told him I am not liable if I make him much more undesirable than in real life. Haha.
